Our Track
Our little piece of heaven is situated on 25 acres, tucked away on the hillside on an organic farm. The Main track is roughly 1km long, it includes a large area of Silvopasture, as well as a communal barn with 24 hour access and hardstanding. Along the track are a number of feeding stations as well as natural shelter and foraging. We also include a variety of horse enrichments incase they want a little bit more of a challenge.
By keeping horses in a herd we are helping our horses to feel safe and secure. We see the complexity of their relationship exhibited. Nothing beats watching a horse who has never been able to practise normal behaviour enter a herd environment and learn how to be a horse again.
Unlike our friends in the wild, our equines get the added benefit of regular farrier and dentist visits, of course you are welcome to use your own but we do love the great job our guys do and provide great advice to help keep your horses as healthy as possible.
We often run the sheep and cattle on the interior paddocks. It helps to keep to control parasites in the horses restores lots of nutrients back into the soil.
In the wild we see different species grazing together.
